Will Allan
Founder and Director
I’m a qualified HR Practitioner with over 15 years of HR and Recruitment experience. I’ve had the privilege to work with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations as an HR professional. Through this experience, I’ve created a company that helps businesses transform themselves, and their people, to be the best possible version of themselves. When businesses realise that that people are so important to the function of their operation, this is where we do our best work. I love working with organisations that want us to be a part of their business; to help them shape and structure their HR and people systems, processes, and strategy to be successful. When I’m not taking myself too seriously running a company, I’m doing something active and fun with my young family. When I can find some time just for me…I’m playing golf—without that I’d go insane!

I have been working in HR for the past 5 years, originally kicking off my career in London working in financial services. I’ve since worked in a variety of industries back in New Zealand in both private and public sector roles. What I like most about Hello Monday is being able to work with a diverse range of small to medium sized businesses helping them with all of their HR needs. Whether that is talent acquisition, a tricky employment relations case or guiding managers through change and transformation. It’s a great feeling finishing a job knowing that you have been able to make a positive difference for that organisation. When I’m not doing the 9-5, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors, taking a spin class or just enjoying some time to chill out in this beautiful country we’re lucky to live in.

HR Coordinator
I joined Hello Monday as an Intern to complete my cooperative education at AUT where I studied Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources management and Employment Relations management. At the end of the internship I got offered a place to stay here at Hello Monday and I could not have been happier to be staying with such a value focused team. Hello Monday stood out to me as an organisation as optimistic team-work is what I was looking for to build and better my experiences in the real world. I love helping people to the best of my ability and my role here, involving a variety of tasks allows me to do so. Apart from this, what interests me the most is travelling, meeting new people, dancing, shopping, and trying different cuisines.

HR Coordinator

Before completing my double degree in Bachelor of Law and Business, I worked at Hello Monday as an intern. This was a very exciting opportunity and I learnt endless tips and tricks of the HR world. I was then offered a position with Hello Monday and was beyond happy to join their remarkable team. Working here has exposed me to a variety of projects, and I am always looking forward to the next opportunity to help people with their HR needs. When I am not at work or university, I like to spend my ‘me-time’ by creating bonsai trees, taking my dog for long walks and listening to podcasts.

Vedika Yadav
HR Coordinator

I started as an Intern at Hello Monday to complete my Work Integrated Learning at Auckland University of Technology where I was completing my Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management. Shortly after I finished my internship I was asked to join the team and I agreed without hesitation. I have learned so much about HR practices. Every day is different than the previous working here. With every new exciting opportunity I look forward to using my skills to help people.

When I am not in the office I spend my time volunteering, playing the guitar and exploring the outdoors.

Working in the HR space has been passion of mine since I graduated University. I have worked in a range of industries from Civil Engineering, Telecommunications to Printing. I absolutely love adding value to businesses by providing HR support, whether it be improving or enhancing the culture of the business or assessing performance… balancing being the employee advocate and supporting the employer is key. After taking a break to have a family (three boys, heaven help me!), I was very keen to get back into the world of HR and Hello Monday was the perfect fit for me. I have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on all aspects of HR, no day is the same.

I have over 15 years HR operational and strategic experience both here in NZ and the UK. I have loved my generalist roles ranging from HR and Recruitment Management roles to contracting on introducing new CRMs, creating policies and procedure frameworks, supporting businesses through change and leading on complex ER investigations. When I am not doing that fun stuff, I can be found in the wild west (Whenuapai) with an interior design magazine in one hand —and a vino in the other!

HR Consultant

Having commenced my HR career in the UK, I now have over 14 years’ experience in HR Generalist roles.  One thing I  love about working in HR is the opportunity to work across all sorts of industries.

I have experience in FMCG, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality, Retail and Professional Services (including Legal and Architecture).  I also love the fact that NZ employment relations pivots around acting in good faith and being fair and reasonable, which in essence is how I live my life!  I really enjoy recruitment and the compliance side of HR, ensuring businesses have the right employment documents and policies in place to mitigate risk.

While I’m not working I will most likely be enjoying some quality family time with my husband and two young kids. I am also a foodie at heart, so I may also be cooking up a storm!
