Our team are highly qualified and experienced HR practitioners with strong strategic grounding and broad operational expertise. We are all about building long-lasting relationships and working closely with you to provide a very personal service. From working with start-up companies to large corporate firms across the private and public sectors in NZ and around the world, it’s fair to say that we’ve seen it all.
I’m a qualified HR Practitioner with over 15 years of HR and Recruitment experience. I’ve had the privilege to work with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations as an HR professional. Through this experience, I’ve created a company that helps businesses transform themselves, and their people, to be the best possible version of themselves. When businesses realise that that people are so important to the function of their operation, this is where we do our best work. I love working with organisations that want us to be a part of their business; to help them shape and structure their HR and people systems, processes, and strategy to be successful. When I’m not taking myself too seriously running a company, I’m doing something active and fun with my young family. When I can find some time just for me…I’m playing golf—without that I’d go insane!
Joining Hello Monday was an absolute no brainer for me. It was a brand I was both familiar with and intrigued by. I have been in sales my entire life from hospitality, to years in recruitment and Account Management for a Learning Design company. I was on the hunt for my next challenge and lucky enough for me, Hello Monday was looking for someone just like me! My favourite part of my role is building collaborative relationships, and working creatively to provide solutions for my clients, and to drive business. I work with passion, energy and a bit of humour. My home life is a rather dynamic, busy and noisy one, and that suits me just fine. I believe in putting in more than you take out and consider myself extraordinarily blessed with the people I get to spend my time with both personally and professionally.
My first experience with Hello Monday was as a candidate when I was placed in a temporary role with Spark. I found the recruitment process here outstanding, which made me eager to pursue a career with the company. I was delighted to be offered a role as a Recruitment Coordinator, where I assist with end to end recruitment, develop and implement new processes, and provide excellent candidate care. I was born and raised in Liverpool in the UK, which is famous for its warm and welcoming culture, similar to that of Hello Monday. I have a love of traveling so left home in 2014. Starting in Asia, I then spent two years in Australia before arriving in New Zealand in 2016. I have five years marketing experience working across a variety of sectors and have experience in all areas of marketing and communications. Prior to joining Hello Monday, I was the marketing manager for two years for a commercial property management company in London. I believe I have a strong client focus, and feel fortunate to be responsible for all of Hello Monday’s marketing activity, helping to support our company’s growth strategy.
Working with Hello Monday has been one of my most valuable experiences to date. The positivity and excitement they have for all things HR is what first drew me to Hello Monday. In this environment, I learn so much and have fun every day! My role is quite varied, I’m mostly involved in our recruitment team, but I also assist our experienced HR consultants. I’m passionate about people and administration, so love building relationships and getting stuck into a project! I completed my internship with Hello Monday and have now moved to a part-time role as I continue to study. Being able to work for a company that encourages growth and learning really does make me excited to come into work every morning – even Mondays! When I’m not working or studying, I like to stay active. I enjoy exploring our beautiful country and love spending time with friends and family.
I am an expert in revealing and cultivating solutions for businesses to meet their growing demands. I come from a corporate background of over 30 years and have a solid set of client service skills in both private and public sectors. My passion has been to immerse myself in businesses that have required out-of-the-box solutions and rigour to ensure minimal delay in effectiveness and productivity. I have a natural ability to translate a customer’s requirements into tangible results and it has been a strength that has seen many successful outcomes during the course of my career. A recent success a large-scale recruitment project that has been recognised as being ground breaking, reshaping of the old and bringing in the new to create a model that was extremely effective. My partnership with Hello Monday is aimed to bring client services to complement the solid platform that Hello Monday has operated. We are committed to deliver quality recruitment and HR solutions and Leadership Development Programmes to both existing and new clients alike. When I am not working my favourite pass-time is travel. A recent road trip through the South Island has left me awe of the diversity of the New Zealand landscape. Originally from a Zimbabwe, I feel privileged to be a New Zealander and aim to leave a legacy behind both in business and personally.
Working in the HR space has been passion of mine since I graduated University. I have worked in a range of industries from Civil Engineering, Telecommunications to Printing. I absolutely love adding value to businesses by providing HR support, whether it be improving or enhancing the culture of the business or assessing performance… balancing being the employee advocate and supporting the employer is key. After taking a break to have a family (three boys, heaven help me!), I was very keen to get back into the world of HR and Hello Monday was the perfect fit for me. I have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on all aspects of HR, no day is the same.
I have over 15 years HR operational and strategic experience both here in NZ and the UK. I have loved my generalist roles ranging from HR and Recruitment Management roles to contracting on introducing new CRMs, creating policies and procedure frameworks, supporting businesses through change and leading on complex ER investigations. When I am not doing that fun stuff, I can be found in the wild west (Whenuapai) with an interior design magazine in one hand —and a vino in the other!
I am an experienced Human Resources practitioner with 18 years of New Zealand experience. I have worked in a combination of contract and permanent HR roles during that time. I’ve worked across a broad range of industries including banking, public health, manufacturing and building services. Whilst predominantly operating in the generalist HR space, I have experience in recruitment and selection, document and policy development, performance management, change management, employment relations and leadership development. I have a BA (Psychology / HRM), Post Grad Dip HRM and am currently completing my LLB.
