We are a team of experienced HR practitioners with strong strategic grounding and broad, practical operational expertise. Our team works with you to understand what you want to achieve in your business. We work collaboratively with you to help you achieve your business objectives through creating a thriving and engaged workplace. We’ll get your HR fundamentals in place and help you establish and implement your longer-term HR and people strategy to support your goals.

Will Allan

Founder & Director

Will is a qualified HR Practitioner with over 15 years of HR and Recruitment experience. Will has had the privilege to work with some of New Zealand’s largest organisations as an HR professional. Will has worked in telecommunications, technology, FMCG, Insurance, Not For Profit, and this experience gave Will the desire to create an HR company that helps businesses transform themselves, and their people, to be the best possible version of themselves. When businesses realise that people are an important part of their operation, this is where we do our best work. Will loves working with businesses that want Hello Monday to be a part of their team and to help them shape and structure their HR function, people systems, processes, and strategy to be successful. When Will’s not taking himself too seriously running Hello Monday, he’s doing something active and fun with his young family and when he finds me time…he’s playing golf—without that he’d go insane!


Mandy Hodder

HR Consultant

Mandy is an experienced HR Manager with over 15 years of broad generalist HR experience. During this time she has worked in global organisations within the financial services, banking, FMCG and manufacturing sectors both in New Zealand and the UK. Mandy enjoys partnering with business leaders to help them achieve their goals by creating the right conditions for employees to perform at their best. With a strong focus on systems, processes and culture/ways of working, Mandy has been involved in designing and delivering a number of successful HR interventions and change programs, both big and small. She loves to use her experience and knowledge to design targeted HR initiatives and to problem solve those challenging people issues that arise from time to time. In her spare time, Mandy is busy raising her young family – 5 year old daughter and 3 year old twin sons – and enjoying the beautiful NZ outdoors as much as possible!


Robyn Theobald

HR Advisor

Robyn is an HR Advisor with 5 years generalist experience across recruitment, HR and people experience!

In her career to date, Robyn has enjoyed roles in the financial services, tech, construction and the processing and supply chain industries.

A true passion for people and creating solutions and experiences with a people-centric focus, she enjoys the more strategic-thinking aspect of HR – understanding and integrating engagement, culture and wellbeing into an overall business strategy to create thriving engaged workplaces.

Robyn originates from Watford in the UK and has been in New Zealand since 2015 , when she left the UK after completing her Degree in Sociology at Nottingham University!

Outside of work, you’ll find Robyn and partner, Max out on the boat on the Hauraki Gulf, running the dog or camping their way around stunning spots around New Zealand.

Lisa McLachlan

Lisa McLachlan

HR Consultant

Lisa is a generalist HR Consultant with over 13 years’ experience in all aspects of HR. She is passionate about building strong relationships and enjoys working alongside clients to understand their business goals and partnering with them to engage their teams to achieve results. Lisa is energetic, confident and effective as a HR Consultant. Originally from Australia, she has a sound understanding of both Australian and New Zealand law and has significant experience in both operational and strategic HR in both large and small organisations across mining, government sector, automotive and industrial, gaming and entertainment and health and fitness industries. Lisa enjoys the variety that each day on the job can bring, and when she is not in wearing her HR hat she is enjoying spending time with and going on adventures with her two young boys.


Ariana van Baarle

HR Administrator

Ariana is our HR administrator. After completing her studies in management and marketing, she worked with a creative agency and started her career in marketing and events management. Since then, she has gained valuable experience in event management, website design, photography, and social media management. Ariana brings her creativity to Hello Monday and enjoys incorporating our client’s branding in all the work she does. Alongside her creativity, she is empathetic and enjoys building relationships. She believes this to be a crucial aspect of HR and strives to develop these traits further as she progresses in her career. Ultimately, she is interested in learning how to better lead people in the workplace and wants to reach a stage where she can offer coaching and leadership guidance. This is the beginning of her HR journey and she is excited to see where her HR administrator role leads her! Outside of work, you’ll find Ariana making music or spending time with family and friends dancing and having a good time.
